Bravo.

You can’t judge a book by its cover, except for Advanced Topics in Precalculus and Calculus, 4th Ed. From the cover, you can pretty much judge that it will be an advanced text covering precalculus, calculus, and the mysterious longings of the human heart in conflict with itself.

I like finding cool things. Especially musical things. This is cool. And musical.

Why did jokes about Jonestown never catch on? Because the punch lines were too long!

text 15 Dec 2 notes Freelance Whales: tolerable happy dappy music?

So I just discovered the band Freelance Whales, via the music blog Pretty Much Amazing, I believe. And I like them. It’s weird though. Some of their songs, like “Hannah” and even “Generator ^ First Floor” to an extent, I would categorize under “happy dappy” music. What is this, you ask? I would put bands like Hot Chip and Owl City under this genre… it’s music that’s very bouncy, very happy. Not that I don’t like happy music! It’s just, these bands take it to a level that’s a little… too much. Freelance Whales, with their album “Weathervanes,” take happy dappy and do something that makes it more than tolerable… it’s very, very enjoyable. Check them out!
